Editing the definition of a card will break the card if that definition is in a workflow somewhere

If you have put a card definition in a workflow and populated the fields of the card, if you then go to edit the card definition and either add, update, or remove the variables on the definition, it will then cause an error if you click on that card command in the workflow.
