Purpose

Return a section of a Date/Time value

Parameters

1 Value Type, Date/Time Value

Returns

Number

Description

The expression returns a part of the provided Date/Time value, representing this as a number. (E.g. a number representing the year, the hour of day, the seconds etc.). You set which part of the Date/Time should be returned using the ‘Value Type’ field.

Comments

This expression will return the numeric version of these types, for example Month will return 4 instead of April .
